What You State Is Exposing … However What Do You Truly Want?

Conversations can be exposing, can’t they?

The words we use, the technique we use our bodies to expose our interest and interest or the undesirable wincing and twitching as we cope what we want – are all tips to our advancement and how we feel we’re doing on our selected course.

In the twenty years (incorporated) that Jo and I have really coached for we seen people pursuing concrete goals. Someone may mention they want to make more money or wind up being the type of person that can hold down a relationship.

Amongst the exposing things I hear when people consult with me about their desires is that they normally speak to ‘ownership.’ In many cases they are rather in fact mentioning ‘I want success to be mine’.

Is this genuinely what they prefer?

In my view, people do not want to own an efficient relationship. They want success in linking to another individual.

I’ve similarly observed that people do not genuinely want to make more money for money sake, they want to create earnings from work which has significance and function which they find rewarding and fulfilling.

In my observations people do not prefer ownership of money, relationships, anything, health or spirituality else. What they – and all individuals – desire is the feelings of abundance, connection, health and love.

When he goes over success in the Endorphin Effect, Dr. William Bloom puts it remarkably when he mentions, ‘It needs to be inside the skin, not outdoors.

Just recently, author of the Power of Now, Echart Tolle’s partner, Kim Eng, stayed in Bristol. She spoke to an audience of around a hundred people. She mentioned that desire is the start of suffering – the yearning for wanting something we deem being outdoors our self.

She went on to mention how we are presently whole and that when we desire something beyond our self we are subtracting from our self.

I think when you incorporate Kim’s words with today’s exercise you can really choose up how we presently have what we the bulk of desire inside us presently.

Inside us is a factory for health, love, health, connection etc. The only real concern we may have is remembering this.

Today’s Exercise

1. Visualise something that you want. See, feel it, smell it.

2. Genuinely go into the feelings of having what you want. Succumb to it.

3. Now, if you had a choose, would you prefer the essential things you thought of, nevertheless without the experience, or the experience without the product.
